Terms and Conditions
1. A deposit of 50% of the course cost per person is required to secure a booking with the completed and signed booking form.
2. The balance is due no later than 42 days before the start of the course.
3. If you cancel ;Prior to 43 days before commencement of course = loss of deposit.
Less than 43 days before commencement of course = loss of 100% of course fee.
Cancellation insurance is recommended.
4. The right to cancel a booking is reserved. This would be for unavoidable circumstances only and in this case a full refund will be offered or alternative dates/guide arranged. If a course fails to attract enough people the course may be cancelled with a full refund offered or an alternative course offered. The course is guaranteed to run if it has not been cancelled 30 days before the commencement of the course.
5. Travel insurance is your own responsibility. Insurance against death, injury, loss of earnings and cancellation is strongly recommended.
6. Mountain walking, mountaineering and climbing all carry the risk of injury or death. Using a IFMGA guide reduces this risk but cannot limit it totally. Signing this declaration implies your understanding and acceptance of this risk. Your attention is drawn to the British Mountaineering Councils (BMC) participation statement.
7. Your guide will endeavor to complete the itinerary proposed but must reserve the right to change this for reasons of safety or in the case of bad weather/conditions.
8. The person making the booking must ensure other participants read and accept these conditions.
9. Loaned or hired equipment must be returned in good condition or the the repair or replacement cost will be charged.
10. No liability will be accepted for services provided by a third party even if they are recommended by Mont Blanc Training or somebody working on their behalf.
11. If you have reason to complain about a service that is provided, you are expected to raise the issue at the time or as soon as possible during your trip to give time to try to solve the problem. If the complaint is unresolved during the trip you must put it in writing within 28 days.
12. If a dispute arises and there is recourse to legal proceedings, English law will govern any litigation.
